We will resume house concerts in Spring 2025

The rich complexity of life is the emotional focus of the latest Juno-nominated album from one of Canada’s most accomplished and harmonious trios – Good Lovelies.

The songs on We Will Never Be the Same, crafted by the Juno Award-winning ensemble of Kerri Ough, Sue Passmore and Caroline Marie Brooks, are as compelling as the engaging vocal harmonies for which the group has been known for the last 17 years.

We Will Never Be the Same is the group’s seventh full-length studio album, adding to a widely acclaimed catalogue that also includes two beloved Christmas releases. It adds to their already popular concert repertoire as they return to tread the boards in venues throughout North America, the U.K., Europe and beyond.

It is a testament not only to their artistry, but also their humanity, and is an album that will continue to endear this beloved group to fans of all ages.

Aberdeenshire folksinger, Iona Fyfe, has become one of Scotland’s finest singers, rooted deeply in the singing traditions of the North East of Scotland. In 2021, she became the first singer to win the coveted title of Musician of the Year at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards. Iona performs both folk and pop songs in the Scots language, remaining true to her rooting in tradition.

“Describing Iona Fyfe as a Scottish folksinger is probably doing her an injustice, as the versatility displayed on her new, EP release, Dark Turn of Mind, reflects her grasp and understanding of jazz, Americana and much more.” – RnR Magazine
